Emotive family portraits at Rockbeare Manor

As many of you will know I feel passionately that we should be getting more mum’s in front of the camera. This was the aim of the mini sessions (family portraits) that I held at Rockbeare Manor in the Easter holiday. We did let the dads have a go as well and even managed some beautiful candid family portraits that are so often missing from our family photo albums!

A massive thank you to all those lovely families that came along. We had the most amazing day – from chasing around very busy little people, to snuggling with newborn babies, tickling until we hiccupped, jumping in muddy puddles, aeroplane spotting and sniffing and picking daffodils for our mummies. It was all there to capture. Characters, connections, laughter and raw emotion. I could not have loved the day any more!

A big thank you to Rockbeare Manor for providing such a fantastic venue for our family portrait mini session day!

Missed out on the mini session? Don’t fear I offer family portrait sessions all year round. These sessions are slightly longer in length and can take place at a location of your choosing – your own home, the beach, woodlands or a favourite spot you’d like to remember. So if you’d like to record a bit of your family then please do get in touch or hop over to the Family and Children Collection on the website and we can start designing your shoot!  You too could have some beautiful emotive imagery of your own.

A few of my clients have been kind enough to allow me to share some of their pictures from the day so here are some of my favourites!
